Если что-то пошло не так можно попробовать решить свои проблемы в режиме recovery
Во время загрузки выберите
Advanced options for RHEL
Затем выберите
root
и выполните команды
mount -o remount, rw /
mount -a
cd /home
Теперь вы в своей родной директории home можете искать там своего пользователя и файлы, которые вы недавно редактировали.
